Workflow

Create with an agent, continue on the web

Use DesignCat’s account tools through MCP, then inspect the saved results in Studio or Motion.

What you will make

Saved account media that you can inspect and continue using in the web application.

Starter recipe · no recorded output attached

Before you begin

  • An authenticated DesignCat MCP connection and sufficient credits.
  • A client that supports the required MCP operations.

Follow the workflow

  1. Connect the DesignCat MCP endpoint with your account.
  2. Ask the agent to read the workflow guide, list supported models and inspect the exact model/capability schema.
  3. Specify the intended result and project placement. Review the proposed model and generation cost.
  4. Submit one deliberate generation. Reuse its idempotency key only for a technical retry with identical inputs.
  5. Poll the generation request and retain every output. Open Studio history or the intended Motion project to review the saved result.

Starter prompt

Create a quiet editorial image of a desk beside a large window, morning light, natural materials, no lettering.

Opening the starter offers its model and prompt for you to apply. It does not generate or spend credits.

Costs and limits

MCP works on saved account resources. Unsent browser drafts are local. A local filename does not upload bytes, and a sampled video frame is not a review of the full video.

The final cost depends on your settings and the number of deliberate attempts. Review the displayed credit estimate before generating.
